Five layout things that inspire me in no particular order. These aren't really animation layouts, they're stand alone paintings, but I'm really drawn to the depth and color of these pictures.

This is the most flat of the five and it is very much so. I just love the collage and stamp like feel; it's almost like wallpaper.

Ah, color, light and depth, I love the richness. It brings you into the scene and really sets the mood. I love the organic shapes too, it's almost alien.

This is detail overload, but I think it's layed out beautifully. I love the open air feel of these pictures, even when it's an interior.

If I were to do something more detailed and realistic, which I'd love to if I have time, it'd be looser like this. I just love the shape play here with the caverns. Who knows what's lurking within?

This is a little tighter but it still has great shapes and color and an organic layout. This house is actually modeled after a shell, which is sweet.
Something tells me I'm more painter than draftsman by my choices. Haha.
